About the artists
Brady Anderson made his solo debut at age 15, performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C major. He has since performed concertos dozens of times and received top prizes in numerous competitions. Brady studied cello at University of California at Berkeley and the Indiana University Bloomington Jacobs School of Music. His love of chamber music has taken him all across the US and world. Locally in the Bay Area, he is the artistic director of the Pleasanton Chamber Players and the Benicia Chamber Players. He is the cellist and a founding member of the Alden Trio and was interim cellist of the Thalea String Quartet. He is also a dedicated cello teacher with 40 private students.
Jasmine Nagano, originally from Maui, has performed as a soloist with the Couer d’Alene, Washington-Idaho, and Maui Symphonies. She has participated in the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Banff Piano Master Class, Beijing International Music Festival, and Eastern Music Festival, and served as a staff pianist at Interlochen Arts Camp and Castleman Quartet Program. Jasmine received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Northwestern University Bienen School of Music and Master of Music in Keyboard Collaborative Arts from University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. She is an avid chamber musician and currently residing in Honolulu.
Brady and Jasmine met at the St. Lawrence String Quartet seminar at Stanford in the summer of 2017. Since then, they continued to play as the Anderson-Nagano Duo.
